You guys are the best! I received so many kind words from my post on Tuesday. Yes, it was difficult to publish. I still have my mother's voice in my head, full of blame and shame. But if my story helped you in some way, then it was worth my discomfort. In case you missed it, you can read it here.
But the real reason I'm writing is….
I recently listened to "The Way of Integrity" by Martha Beck on Audible. I liked the book so much that I ordered one in print. Amazon sent me not one, but three copies! Since the book is about truth and integrity, I couldn't in good conscience keep them all.
I took the hard road. I searched and searched Amazon's website on how to return the extras. Two hours later, I got connected to a live human. (I'm lying about it taking two hours. Remember Tuesday's post? Read it here.) When I finally relayed the error, the customer service rep said, "Thanks for your honesty. You can keep the books."
I now have two extra copies that I'd love to give away. Would you like one? Here's the link so you can read what it's about. The genre is self-help, so if that's not your jam, skip ahead.
If it is, then:
Do you have a friend or family member interested in yoga? Would he/she like to take online classes geared to older beginners or enjoy a gentler practice?
OR
Do you have a friend who might enjoy my newsletter for its thought-provoking content?
I'll send a book to the first two people who:
1. Share the newsletter with a friend, and then
2. Said friend signs up for a free subscription to The Bliss Beneath.
Send me your friend's name and your mailing address at hello@theblissbeneath.com. I'll confirm her/his name on the new subscriber's list.
To sign up for the newsletter, go to my website. A note will drop down within a few seconds and ask if you want to Stay in the Loop. Fill in the name and email address, and that’s it!
Lastly, thank you, dear students, who wrote testimonials for The Bliss Beneath. You can read them here. My heart is full after reading them. As I said earlier, you guys are the best.
PLEASE NOTE CORRECTED DATES:
