Happy 2023, my friends! I’m elated to be sharing this upcoming year with you. What 2023 holds is a mystery, but let’s stay grateful for every day we get to be on this side of the dirt.

Today, this newsletter is more pragmatic. The way we do things will be changing for my yoga students and book lovers. I have a new website for you to check out at The Bliss Beneath.

I'll still write my weekly newsletter right here on Substack, but the classes and private appointments for coaching and Tarot readings will be happening there.

I'm no computer genius, so please let me know if you find any broken links or have questions. Squarespace, my website host, operates differently from my old one. Luckily, a yoga teacher friend showed me the ropes. My Canadian friend Deborah generously helped me set up my website. She is an amazing teacher and friend. (Hey, why don’t you check out her free three-part “Chakra Scrubber” workshop?) She’s got decades of teaching experience and a wonderful sense of humor-give her a try!

A new Yoga for Health Aging course starts tomorrow at 7 p.m.

This is a four-week Zoom series focusing on mobility, flexibility, and balance. The cost is $65. A second person in the household comes for half price! You will receive the recording, so don't worry if you can't make it to the class in person. Sign up here.

Also, the free Book Club meets on Thursday, January 12th, at 7 p.m.

The book is "The Artist's Way" by Julia Cameron. There are exercises at the end of each chapter, plus the author recommends morning journaling. I chose to get a hard copy of the book instead of an electronic one because it’s easier to do the exercises that way. There is even a workbook that corresponds to the course.

We will only discuss the prologue and Chapter 1 on 1/12/23, so there is plenty of time to get the book and jump on the Artist’s Way train. If enough people are excited about the book, we can continue to meet monthly to uplift each other and witness our transformations.

I love this book because it aligns with yoga philosophy so well. Julia Cameron may not be a yoga practitioner, but her words sound exactly like the philosophy I've been studying.

We come from the Creator. We are creative energy. We can’t help but create.
