FIRST….
A big shoutout to our new subscribers! There was an influx of new readers this past week, and I am grateful to have you on board. I promise to provide you with something interesting to think about every week.
It is almost two years since I started on this online journey. At first, the pandemic kept me locked up and bored. To have a bit of social life, I gathered Facebook friends to do yoga with me online in April 2020. This led to creating a website, an online book club, and a newsletter.
I call all of this my COVID baby. The baby has taught me new things, like:
Using the Zoom platform.
Creating and updating a website.
Writing and maintaining a newsletter.
Teaching yoga classes online.
Making something from nothing is invigorating. I don’t do it often enough. I’m in the middle of my life (maybe?), and I know there’s a whole lot ahead.
I have yoga to thank for starting me on this path. It has helped me stay connected and kept me feeling ALIVE.
I worked 35 years for The Man. Now it’s time to write the second chapter.
This old dog has learned new tricks. And I’m loving it.
What is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?

What will you do in your second half? Lean in and tell me! I’d love to hear from you.

THE NEXT YOGA SERIES STARTS ON TUESDAY!
Yep, we’re back on the mat. For this four-week series, no prior knowledge of yoga is necessary. No worries if you’ve got creaky knees, bad hips, and you know the old age stuff. I’ve got you. The class is called “Gentle Yoga, Breathwork, and Meditation” because I couldn’t think of anything catchy. It is what it is. There will be a big emphasis on meditation. Investment for all four classes is $50. Recordings are available if you miss. Sign up here.
