If you're a regular reader of this newsletter, you know I enjoy reminding you of your mortality on the regular. It's an ugly job, but someone has to do it.
Here it is again:
You will get old, you will get sick, and you will die.
And that's only if you're lucky.
(And I wonder why I don't have more newsletter subscribers!)
My messaging may be off, but it’s important because:

That knowledge is empowering because it helps us live better now.
Yoga reminds us that we are not the mind or the body and will live on after death. Being tied to this body and mind now, we want to live our remaining days in the best possible way. We strive to preserve our mental acuity and physical mobility.
A good sleep regimen is the most important underlying factor in preserving our health. It's more essential than either diet or exercise.
As we age, getting enough sleep becomes more difficult. People say that older folks don't need as much sleep as in their youth. Don’t listen to those people!!! Nothing could be further from the truth.
Did you know there are links between the amount of sleep you get and longevity? Take a look at this study.
I've had my share of sleepless nights. That’s what started me on this journey. But since I studied sleep, I’ve been fueled with new knowledge that helps me to get at least 8 hours of sleep a night.
It wasn’t easy. I had to change.
I want to share what I’ve learned so you, too, can sleep better. I'm offering a series of three one-hour classes that will give you tools to improve your sleep.
