I've had a difficult relationship with my body because of a chronic illness, and I love the idea of writing poems to various body parts as a way of getting reacquainted and learning to accept, love even, these fragile parts of ours. That Marge Piercey poem is something else! I hadn't come across that one before. Thanks for sharing!

I am 52 and found out on 3/8/24 that i have a meniscus tear and extreme osteoarthritis in my left knee. Wow, Ilona- this spoke to me and gave me perspective of my years of physical activity and how I should love & appreciate all its done for me thus far! Thank you ma’am
