Ilona - Thank you for sharing your story! I knew a few people at my church who also went to church all the time, said the rosary etc - not my thing but I could respect their choice. At one meeting I went to, they were talking about the “danger” of books like Harry Potter and Twilight which are two of my favorites . To me, they are books that I enjoyed because of the emotions that you describe. So happy you found your way back to Larry!
Yes, since we both went to the same church, I'll share this: the Monsignor said yoga should be avoided because it had Eastern roots which contradicted church teachings. I avoided yoga because of this. Look how things turned out!
